Technology and automation

Automations Expert

Build the workflows and AI agents that let a small ETA team run like a large one, across our own platform and tools like Stripe, Slack, Google Workspace and our CRM.

The role

ETA practices what it teaches. You find the manual work across sales, events, membership and programs, and replace it with automations and AI agents that people trust. You work inside ETA HQ, our own platform, and connect it to the tools the team already uses.

What you'll do

  • Map how work flows across teams and find the highest-value tasks to automate.
  • Build and maintain automations and AI agents across ETA HQ, Stripe, Slack, Google Workspace, our CRM, email and our event tools.
  • Design agents that ask for human approval before they send, delete or spend anything.
  • Write scripts, webhooks and small integrations, and document how each one works.
  • Monitor automations, fix failures quickly, and keep a clear log of changes.
  • Train teammates to use and request automations, and share what works with ETA members.
  • Keep data clean and private: secrets stored safely, access limited to the people who need it.

What you'll bring

  • 3 or more years building automations or integrations, with tools like Zapier, Make or n8n and with code.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or Python, APIs, webhooks and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience building with large language models and AI agents.
  • A careful approach to testing, error handling and data privacy.
  • The ability to explain technical work in plain language.
  • Preferred: experience with Next.js, Supabase, Vercel or Stripe.

Compensation and benefits

Competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
