Keep ETA's events, programs and platform launches on time and on budget, from AI Week in cities across the country to statewide AI Ready programs.
The role
ETA runs a lot at once: AI Week in multiple cities, US AI Congress, AI Ready state programs, and new products on our own platform. You turn plans into schedules, owners and deadlines, keep every team informed, and flag risks early so nothing lands late.
What you'll do
- Plan and run cross-team projects from kickoff to wrap-up, with clear scope, milestones, owners and budgets.
- Run the event plan for each AI Week and US AI Congress, working with logistics, sponsorship, speaker and marketing leads.
- Coordinate AI Ready program deliveries with government, workforce and education partners, including reporting and deadlines.
- Keep project boards in ETA Work current, and run short, useful status meetings.
- Spot risks and blockers early and bring options, not just problems, to leadership.
- Build reusable templates and checklists so each event and program runs smoother than the last.
- Track vendor, venue and partner deliverables and contracts.
- Write clear weekly status updates for leadership and partners.
What you'll bring
- 4 or more years managing projects, ideally events, programs or launches with many stakeholders.
- A record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
- Strong organization and follow-through, and comfort holding people to deadlines kindly.
- Experience with project tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira or similar.
- Clear writing and confident communication with executives and partners.
- Preferred: PMP, CAPM or Agile certification, or event or association experience.
- Willingness to travel to ETA events.
